From Freelancer to Agency Founder, Investor and Consultant
Starting on Fiverr and building a 75-person agency
Damiano has lived every stage of the agency journey. He started as a solo freelancer on Fiverr, then built international agencies, led global teams and managed seven-figure client relationships.
He built and sold Startup Slang, an eCommerce development agency, after growing it to a 75-person team across North America and Europe. Tokens.com / Metaverse Group acquired it. He then founded Blue Lock Consulting, a boutique growth firm that worked with companies like Shopify, helping its Plus team nurture and close high-value enterprise clients.
Founding a marketing agency
Next, Damiano founded BrandButter, a creative marketing agency for high-growth and highly regulated industries.
From agency operator to agency investor
He then founded Rave Ventures, a private equity firm that acquires, invests in and scales digital agencies and technology-enabled businesses. In July 2026 he founded AIOTF Software following a $100 million capital commitment from a premier Asian family office, and merged Rave Ventures into it. AIOTF Software is headquartered in Toronto. It's a consolidation platform that acquires, scales and operationalizes AI and software companies worldwide, starting with AI development studio Manaknight.
